It's all fun and games (not really, but you know how the saying goes) until someone has to pay the bills.
Being a charity is hard work and we would not be able to do what we do without the support of the community.
And by community I mean everyone who supports us from around the world in their own way, I want to thank you all:
Being a charity is hard work and we would not be able to do what we do without the support of the community.
And by community I mean everyone who supports us from around the world in their own way, I want to thank you all:
- Thank you to those that like, comment and share our social media posts to help get the word about us. We prefer to spend the money that we have on delivering professional levels of service for our patients instead of advertising ourselves.
- Thank you to our monthly supporters who contribute to the costs of feeding and housing our patients, without you we would not be able provide the professional level of support that we do
- Thank you to our contributors who help us build and repair our infrastructure, it feels like every day something else needs to be repaired and we always need more, bigger and better enclosures, pens, exercise yards etc.
- Thank you to the individuals who contribute their time and expertise. We don't know everything and having access to people who can fill in around our expertise to keep out service high quality and professional.
- Thank you to the businesses who give us discounts, reducing our costs. We do what we do and being able to spread our funds further without compromising the high quality service we provide is invaluable
- Thank you to the businesses who donate time, their staff and products to help us achieve what we do. Knowing we can leave you to do what you do freeing up to do what we do is a load off our minds (and our to do lists)
- Thank you to the community organisations who support us by inviting us to come and share out message, the more people we can share out message with the faster our message will spread
- Thank to you the community yourselves for your kind words and support when you see us out working, it helps. Especially when you are having a less than perfect day, a nice smile and a 'you guys do a great job' after you 10th pouch check in a day really perks you up.
We are very lucky to have a number of corporate and charity supporters who in all honesty we would struggle to do what we do while maintain the high quality and professionalism without their support. So, a big thank you to all those below:
Humane Society International Australia came to our aid post fires (and floods) by contributing a large grant amount towards the build of the small joey enclosure weather extension and the wildlife supply and food shed in the time we needed the most help. The supplies needed and received post bushfires and floods was overwhelming and we needed the storage capacity to be a hub for carers in our region and to support our after care clinic.

With so much support needed for the wildlife from a food, support, shelter, medical supplies and housing perspective. ARC with the help of volunteers delivered targeted supplies for the wildlife in need. We were able to manage the influx and keep our wildlife feed stations full. We are so grateful for their capacity to support all animals in need

We are supported my Microsoft through the provision of Microsoft 365, our complete back office system runs on the Microsoft 365 platform. From the Office Suite, through Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive we are developing Power Apps to ensure that we don't loose critical information and are able to respond to carers, veterinary practices and the community in a timely, professional manner. Thanks you Microsoft, you make it easy to operate.

Salesforce is our engine, we keep track of who's who and what's what. Need to remember to follow up with a Veterinary Practice? Put it in Sales Force. Keeping track of our supporters and volunteers is an easy job now, no spreadsheets, no post-it notes on monitors and keyboards. It all goes in Salesforce, who has a specific configuration optimised for Not-for-Profits. Thanks guys, you make it easy to keep track of who's who and what's what.
